The Second Edition of AJD Industry Days @ AJB DOC is Open

As part of the Sixth AJB DOC Film Festival, which opened last night, the second edition of the industrial platform AJD Industry Days @AJB DOC has begun and will continue until September 11th at “Kamerni Teatar 55.”

Al Jazeera Documentary Industry Days @ AJB DOC, a platform for professionals from the documentary industry with the goal of empowering and supporting the expansion of documentary film production worldwide, is a collaborative effort between Al Jazeera Documentary Channel and AJB DOC Film Festival.

At the opening ceremony, Adil Ksiksi, who leads the AJD Industry Days project, addressed producers presenting their projects, decision-makers, and Festival guests. He extended a warm welcome to all authors and producers who worked hard to prepare their projects, bringing stories from all over her world.

"I am pleased that we will learn about projects originating from Somalia, Germany, Romania, Bosnia, but also from the Arab world, and we look forward to collaborating with young authors presenting their debut projects," stated Ksiksi. He also expressed gratitude to the partners and sponsors who have supported the organization.

Festival Director Edhem Fočo conveyed his best wishes for success to all participants while summarizing the organization's achievements from the previous year.

"I consider last year's edition very successful because more than half of the presented projects received some form of support and an award. The film featured in the Work in Progress category has since been completed, submitted to our Festival, and included in the Competition Selection, which was not easy at all. This means that we are on the right path", emphasized Fočo. He also encouraged participants not to forget to enjoy Sarajevo's tourism offerings.
