World Premiere of the Film about the Musemić Brothers at the 6th AJB DOC
In the hall of the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC) in Sarajevo, packed to capacity, the world premiere of the film 'The Musemić Brothers' by Edin Isanović and Nihad Ušanović took place.
As part of the AJB Screening program at the 6th AJB DOC Film Festival, the world premiere of the film "The Musemić Brothers" was held at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Sarajevo, followed by a discussion with the audience.
The film's
announcement, which tells the story of exceptional talent, struggle, brotherly
love, and life, garnered significant public attention, so it's no wonder that
the BKC hall was filled to capacity.
The film's creators are sports journalist Edin Isanović and director Nihad Ušanović, who, inspired by the Musemić brothers, Vahidin and Husref, documented the life story of these two goal corers and legends of FK "Sarajevo," who won the Yugoslav champion title with that club.
"The
Musemićs are proof that there are no shortcuts in life and that only long-term,
dedicated work leads to success. The audience will judge whether we succeeded
or not," says Isanović.
He adds that
he is saddened that Vahidin did not live to see the premiere, recalling how the
last shots of the film were filmed at Koševo Stadium just seven days before his
passing.
"Unfortunately,
he didn't live to see the premiere, but his presence is felt through his last
recorded shots at Koševo Stadium," emphasizes Isanović, adding that it is
essential to introduce such sporting and human giants to younger generations.
The film "The Musemić Brothers" was produced by VIP Production for Al
Jazeera SportDoc.
