Extended Deadline for AJD Industry Days

Projects can be submitted until 15th of June 2024

If you think you have a unique documentary project idea but are in need of additional financial support - this is your answer. We offer competitive awards. And more partners' awards.

Submit your projects and participate in the Third edition of Al Jazeera Documentary (AJD) Industry Days that will take place from 14th to 16th September 2024, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Call for Projects is exclusively for documentary filmmakers from the Southeast Europe, the Caucasus, the Middle East, and North Africa (MENA) region or documentary projects dealing with topics from the aforementioned areas.

Project submission is free of charge.

There are three categories:

- Main Pitch - accepting all stages of project development and production by independent filmmakers and production companies 

- Rough Cut - projects in the post-production stage, intended for broadcasting on Al Jazeera or other international broadcasters and platforms

- Balkan Stars - the development stage of projects and production suitable for regional and international co-production with Al Jazeera Balkans/Al Jazeera Documentary or other broadcasters
