Irena Jelić

Irena was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia (1977). With degrees in History of Art and Spanish language, she built her career in marketing agencies as a copywriter and creative director, and in the last ten years has dedicated herself to film.

Irena was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia (1977). With degrees in History of Art and Spanish language, she built her career in marketing agencies as a copywriter and creative director, and in the last ten years has dedicated herself to film. She has designed and implemented more than 100 PR campaigns for Croatian and foreign films, Blitz-CineStar multiplex cinemas and CineStar TV channels. From 2017, Irena works for the Croatian Audiovisual Center (HAVC). She is the head of the Department of Festivals and Promotion at HAVC and Croatian representative in the European Film Promotion.
