CHALLENGES OF INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM IN TV DOCUMENTARISM

In today’s time, where more multi-platforms are available than ever before (print media, radio, TV, internet portals, social networks...), through the examples illustrated with video clips, we shall analyse all the challenges that investigative journalism faces today, with particular emphasis on television current affairs documentary films.

Tomislav Pulić Biography

Tomislav Pulić was born in Šibenik. He graduated from the Zagreb Faculty of Political Science. For the last 25 years, he has been working for Croatian national broadcaster HRT. His managerial duties reached their peak between 2009 and 2013 when he acted as the Chief producer at HRT and CEO at Orfej. Since he was producer of cultural department at HRT, and the author of the television artistic project „TV Performans“. In 2016 he co-directed (with Robert Tomić Zuber) his debut documentary „Kandidat“. From 2018 he is a coowner of production house TOROlab, specialized in producing video contents for linear and digital platforms. He is also creative producer of Al Jazeera Balkans investigative magazine „Re:Vision“ produced by TOROlab.
